Around the Suvarnabhumi airport, there are a few big department stores that you can visit. The first one that we’d like to suggest is Mega Bangna – with around 400 shops in all categories i.e. Clothing, Groceries, Restaurant, Cosmetics & perfume etc. There are the movie theater, Fitness center – Fitness first in this shopping center as well.

Normally it takes around 30-40 minutes by a taxi from the airport. But if you travel around 5pm-7pm, it could be much longer than that.

Shopping the outlet stores at Central Village – Bangkok Luxury Outlet

If you look for the luxury outlet store, Central Village is one of your list. This place was just opened in mid of 2019, gathering so many well-known brandnames with approximately 130 stores including Chloe’, Coach, DAKS, KENZO, Polo Ralph Raulen, PUMA & Salvatore Ferragamo.

Step back to the ancient Thailand at The Ancient City, Samut Prakan

If you are tired of the shopping and more like the cultural person, here is the nice place you should visit. The Ancient City – the huge outdoor museum with around 300 acres land divided into 4 sections in the same way Thailand is divided. You can experience the historical architectures and culture of the Northern Region, Northeastern Region, Central Region and Southern Region in only one place. A range of attractions here you can find including the floating market, the stone sanctuary or the Sanphet Prasat Palace. You can enjoy all of this place by renting a bicycle or taking the tour inside to visit every attraction.

From Suvarnabhumi ariport, you can take a taxi with approximately 60 minutes to get here. It is open everyday from 9.00-19.00.

Experience the world through Snake’s eyes at the Siam Serpentarium Museum.

For this place, you can experience how snakes are born, hunt, survive and reproduce through various fun and fascinating interactive tools and activities. Also, providing the Snake handling show and the dazzling performances, this place is located close to the airport and takes approximately 15-20 minutes by car.

This museum is open daily from 9.00 – 18.00 and the last entry is at 16.00. The ticket is required.
